Rig Up (now Workrise) seeks a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer to lead analysis and design for complex energy and infrastructure projects in Phoenix. You'll own stress calculations, modeling, and support design for high-pressure and high-temperature piping systems using tools like CAESAR II and AutoPIPE. Partner with project, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure code compliance, constructability, and safety. You'll mentor junior engineers, review vendor and contractor deliverables, and help standardize best practices in a fast-paced, data-driven environment focused on frontline workers.
Responsibilities
- Lead pipe stress analysis for high-pressure and high-temperature systems
- Develop and validate piping models in CAESAR II or Auto
- PIPEEnsure designs comply with ASME B31.1/B31.3 and client standards
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and project teams for constructability
- Review vendor and contractor calculations, drawings, and reports
- Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and engineering reports
- Mentor junior engineers and support standardized best practices
- Support field teams with issue resolution and design clarifications
