Senior Advanced Application Engineer – Actuation Systems

• Lead engineering projects to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality objectives
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource estimates, and performance metrics
• Support EVMS activities, including performance tracking, reporting, and status updates
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and corrective actions throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to proposals through technical planning, cost estimating, and schedule development
• Support the design, integration, testing, qualification, and validation of electromechanical actuation systems
• Analyze customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and define verification strategies
• Ensure compliance with government, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements
• Lead technical problem-solving, root cause investigations, and resolution of engineering issues
• Develop, review, and communicate technical documentation, test results, and program findings
• Serve as a primary technical interface with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams
• Work across the product lifecycle from requirements definition and system architecture through production transition

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in aerospace, defense, electromechanical systems, manufacturing, testing, product development, or a related technical field
• Experience managing technical deliverables, schedules, and priorities within a project environment
• Experience with electro-mechanical actuation systems, motion control systems, or aerospace subsystems
• Knowledge of aerospace development processes, system validation, verification, qualification, and certification activities
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS), project planning, and risk management
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles
• Manufacturing, production support, or hardware integration experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• U.S. Person requirement: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status under asylum or refugee status, or ability to obtain an export authorization
