East Valley! Assistant Controller

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Provide management with regular reports on financial performance and key metrics.

Cost Accounting:

• Monitor production costs and analyze variances against budgeted and standard costs.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track expenses and allocate costs appropriately.
• Work with operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for the plant.
• Monitor budget performance and provide insights to management on deviations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with department heads to align spending with strategic objectives.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the valuation and control of inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Must have :

Minimum 5+ years' experience must have manufacturing and standard costing

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
