Job Summary

Performs a wide variety of intermediate-level credit and collection functions.

II.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Reviews and monitors credit sources, credit files, customer applications and delinquent accounts.

+ Obtains required information from credit organizations, banks and loan associations.

+ Maintains records on credit risks, delinquent accounts and incomplete files.

+ Mails follow-up letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.

+ Confers with customers by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, and reviews terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer.

+ Receives and posts payments on customer accounts.

+ Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.

+ Ensures proper sorting and filing of correspondence.

III. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED (accredited).

+ 4 years of relevant work experience.

** Pay:
** The expected base pay range for this on site position is $19 - $27 This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
