Job Overview
The Loan Verifications Specialist plays a critical role in the consumer lending process by reviewing and validating customer information, resolving application requirements, and supporting loan funding activities.
Responsibilities- Review and verify customer information, documentation, and loan stipulations for accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve missing information by working with customers, branch teams, underwriting, and third‑party partners.
- Validate identity, employment, income, and other information used in loan decisions.
- Review loan documentation and support funding activities to ensure timely and accurate loan disbursement.
- Identify potential fraud indicators, discrepancies, or complex situations and elevate as appropriate.
- Deliver exceptional service while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support the customer experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Customer‑focused with an investigative mindset and sound judgment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Technical aptitude.
- Experience in financial services, consumer lending, loan processing, verification, underwriting support, fraud review, or related fields.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with performance and service‑level goals.
On site in Tempe, AZ.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday 6a.m.–8p.m. AZ time (7a.m.–9p.m. Daylight Saving Time) and Saturday 6a.m.–1p.m. The schedule is 40hours per week within hours of operation, which includes up to 3 Saturdays per quarter.
