Financial Analyst
As a Program Controls Specialist at Honeywell in Tempe, AZ, you will manage and direct the control and oversight of various project aspects such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to the Sr Program Controls Manager and will work on a hybrid schedule, with new hires onsite Monday through Friday for the first 90 days.
Responsibilities- Support program launch and program execution.
- Support development of program plans.
- Prepare and publish metrics and reports.
- Track budget and program financial data.
- Track milestones and identify root cause.
- Analyze program performance metrics.
- Analyze cost and schedule integration.
- Develop Earned Value Management knowledge and apply it to programs.
- Support program teams and stakeholders.
- Provide organizational feedback for tools and process efficiencies.
- Complete required certification and application training.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the audience.
- Ability to work in a large, diverse team in a matrix‑work environment.
- User experience with SAP system.
- User experience with Microsoft Project.
- Experience with financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management.
- Experience using Earned Value metrics, managing budgets, and maintaining milestone fidelity.
- U.S. persons requirement: candidate must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or possess protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
