Position: Loss Mitigation Fulfillment Specialist II (On-Site)

Primary Function

The Fulfillment Specialist II is responsible for assisting the Mortgage Operations team members in obtaining, reviewing, and verifying client documentation to facilitate the qualifying, processing, and closing of loans. This position is considered a non‑loan originator position and does not include communicating directly with borrowers about credit qualification or loan terms.

Principal Duties
  • Interfaces with vendor or third‑party systems and companies.
  • Obtains documentation to meet investor guidelines.
  • Reviews and satisfies document requirements.
  • Validates that documentation meets Federal and State guidelines.
  • Completes data entry and supporting services for loan processing.
  • Communicates with business partners regarding discrepancies and missing documentation.
  • Generates, reviews, and releases initial and subsequent disclosures.
  • Maintains standard company turnaround times.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 2+ years of mortgage industry or industry‑equivalent related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of loan documentation and processes.

  • Strong verbal communication skills and writing/presentation abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and new systems/platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with sound judgment.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self‑directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • High degree of professional maturity, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential data and information.
  • Strong technical aptitude and business acumen.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
Work Environment and

Physical Requirements

Working on‑site at an assigned office location. Requires regular, punctual attendance and flexible scheduling, including occasional overtime or weekend hours. Work is performed on a computer in a cubicle hub with typical phone and computer use. Requires proficient verbal communication in English.
