Position Overview

This full‑time Personal Banker position is located in our Tempe, AZ branch at 725 S Rural Rd, Suite 105.
Responsibilities- Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
- Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer’s financial well‑being.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow the customer’s share of wallet.
- Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
- Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement, ultimately elevating client loyalty.
- Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
- Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
- Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
- Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
- Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
- Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Demonstrate heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.
- Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Exhibit customer‑focused behavior, applying values and practices that prioritize customer needs and satisfaction.
- Manage risk effectively in line with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, and related experience or product knowledge.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated competency in accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience, customer service, opportunity identification, technology leveraging, proactive sales, banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, multitasking, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, and selling.
- Strong understanding of customer needs.
- No specific certifications or licenses required; candidates will be subject to background checks per CFPB regulations.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
