Operations Analyst; Financial Tax

TEKsystems is currently searching for qualified candidates for an Operations Analyst role in Tempe, AZ. We are seeking individuals with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who are interested in building a long‑term career in accounting, tax, or financial services. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop expertise in tax reporting and financial operations.

• Process receipt transactions that are not in good order, process journal requests, and monitor/handle the disbursement work queues to process various disbursement requests.
• Process divorce and death claim processing.
• Process tax operations.
• Process ACAT, Non‑ACAT, and/or Mutual Fund account transfers.
• Review reports that reconcile general ledgers and end‑of‑day balances.
• Support investment transaction accounting and position reconciliation for accurate reporting.
• Process daily compensation sharing arrangements (or setups) for new advisors and ongoing maintenance for current LPL advisors.
• Perform a set amount of tasks daily using several applications, following set procedures and guidelines.
• Complete additional tasks to match changing business needs.

• Experience with tax documents, particularly 1099‑NEC preferred.
• 1+ year of corporate operations and analytical experience utilizing Excel.
• Very strong proficiency skills in Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels.
• Attention to detail, ability to analyze information, and strong reporting skills.
• Must work well under stress in order to meet strict deadlines.
• Must be organized and can work on multiple projects at a time.
• Knowledgeable of a wide range of financial investment vehicles, including but not limited to mutual funds, fixed income products, options, common stocks, and variable annuities (preferred).
• An understanding of direct processing is preferred but not required.

Tempe, AZ – Hybrid (Onsite Monday‑Wednesday, Remote Thursday‑Friday).

Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM.

$21.00 per hour.

Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
