Pay range: $31.14 to $38.06 per hour, depending on experience. Bonus opportunities available.

Responsible for following up on member inquiries, internal and digital leads to assist members with mortgage and home equity needs. Pre‑qualify and consult members, determine the best program, and obtain required documentation for loan processing. Ensure proper and timely execution of documents and collection of documentation. Provide best‑in‑class service to members, employees, and business associates while demonstrating Tru West values. Work independently to achieve loan production goals and identify cross‑sell opportunities.

NLMS registration or eligibility for registration required.

• Manage and convert leads from trigger leads, digital marketing inquiries, and data mining.
• Originate mortgage loans that conform to FNMA, FHA, VA, and other portfolio guidelines.
• Understand Home Equity and Non‑Conforming guidelines.
• Perform duties accurately and meet deadlines.
• Take complete applications and follow through with all aspects of the loan process through closing.
• Educate borrowers about the entire mortgage process.
• Follow credit union policies for compliance with all laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Security Policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED required. Associate Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the mortgage industry.

• Thorough knowledge of mortgage industry practices.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Knowledge of FNMA, Home Equity, VA, and FHA loan programs, required documentation, and mortgage terminology.
• Experience with mortgage origination software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
