We are seeking a Credit Analyst / Buyer to support our Credit team by capturing approved contracts, reviewing loan documentation, and communicating directly with automotive dealerships to drive contract completion and funding success.
Key Responsibilities- Review, validate, and communicate credit applications in accordance with internal company credit policies and procedures.
- Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to dealerships to communicate credit decisions and follow up on approvals.
- Effectively negotiate with dealerships to “capture” approved applications.
- Review and interpret loan and income documentation, including paystubs, bank statements, tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, and award letters.
- Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealership partners.
- Provide exemplary service levels in alignment with company standards.
- Work collaboratively with Credit, Funding, and other internal teams to exceed company quality and volume goals.

QualificationsExperience:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an automotive lending or consumer credit environment.
- Prior experience in subprime lending, dealer relationships, or capture functions preferred.
- Knowledge of credit, finance, and funding functions within an auto finance company.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to learn, process, and retain information quickly.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity, time-sensitive environment.
Location:
Training is onsite and then t his role offers a hybrid work schedule in our Tempe, AZ office.
Schedule:Flexibility required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
