Cash Management Operations Specialist

Position OverviewThe ideal candidate has2–3 years of financial services or related industry experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance transaction processing with inbound and outbound client/advisor interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Review and enter wire instructions into internal systems and identify foreign/international wire requirements.
- Perform requiredAML, OFAC, anti-fraud, and compliance reviewsas part of the transaction process.
- Conduct due diligence to protect clients from fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
- Contact financial advisors and other stakeholders to clarify incomplete, incorrect, or potentially problematic transaction information.
- Educate financial advisors on client sytems, processes, documentation, signatures, and requirements to help successfully complete client transactions.
- Research and resolve compliance or banking-related questions, including issues that may result in holds or additional review by LPL or receiving banks.
- Handle both processing work and inbound/outbound calls while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Support NIGO activities and other cash management functions as needed.
- Cross-train and provide support across other cash operations functions, includingACH, checks, and journals, based on business needs.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when working with financial advisors and clients, including the ability to handle sensitive or escalated situations.
- 2–3 years of experience in financial services, banking, brokerage, or a related industry.
- Experience processing
domestic wires
; international wire experience is strongly preferred. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established controls and procedures.
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactional work while also handling phone-based inquiries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with financial advisors and clients and providing process/system education.
- Ability to ask appropriate security and verification questions and handle occasional de-escalation situations.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Flexibility to cross-train and support other cash management functions as business needs change.
- Beta / legacy banking systems, including platforms such as Thompson or AS/400.
- Lexis Nexisor similar AML, OFAC, fraud, or identity-verification systems.
- Softphone/contact center platforms, such as NICE or CXone.
- Microsoft Office products.
- Cloud-based document/storage platforms.
The strongest candidates will bring a combination of financial services experience, wire processing knowledge, operational accuracy, and customer-service skills. Candidates who have worked in banking or brokerage environments and have experience with domestic and international wires, AML/fraud processes, legacy banking systems, and call center/softphone environments are especially well aligned.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a structured, highly regulated environment where they must balance speed, accuracy, compliance, client protection, and advisor service.
