Sr. Corporate FP&A Manager

Description

This position is ideal for mid to senior-level finance professionals to join the Global Corporate FP&A team to support the strategic plan, annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and quarterly close by partnering with global finance teams. You’ll provide support to the global FP&A teams on budgeting, planning, analysis and reporting to influence decision-making and improve performance. This role is vital for Align to ensure that our short-term and long-term strategy is in place for our overall business success.

  • Prepare the BOD, Audit Committee and all C-level financial presentations
  • Responsible for updating the monthly financial reporting package for senior management as needed
  • Responsible for internal financial reporting and data accuracy
  • Set forecasting calendar and consolidate financials for budgeting/forecasting cycles
  • Ensure calendar and process for annual operating plan and monthly forecasts are clearly communicated and deadlines effectively met
  • Drive the global finance teams to complete business deliverables for forecasting, reporting, budgeting and other corporate requirements
  • Prepare and book Journal entries monthly for necessary corporate items
  • Analyze corporate spending against forecast and budget and recommend opportunities for savings
  • Responsible for balance sheet and cash flow forecasting
  • Create tools and templates for Finance team to drive standardize inputs for consolidation
  • Ability to use experience and skillset to improve and automate areas with minimal supervision
  • Support the global Finance team with analysis and ad-hoc financial projects where necessary
  • Design, build, and test automated financial reports and models using various reporting tools
  • Administer and become a subject matter expert with planning and reporting tools used at Align including ERP, Consolidation, Planning, and Business Intelligence software packages
  • Respond to questions and requests from end-users regarding the planning and reporting tools and communicate and track issue resolution
What we're looking for

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or business;
Masters preferred (CPA/MBA is a plus)

Experience: 10+ years of FP&A experience in a large-scale public company with annual revenue exceeding $4 billion

Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and have a positive “can-do” attitude, strong analytically, and proficiency in financial modeling, and data analysis. Adept at using software such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion or similar solutions. Strong Excel skills and understanding of accounting equations and financial statements

Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills,

Teamwork: Ability to work both independently under tight deadlines and work collaboratively with others

Pay Transparency

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
