Sr Financial Analyst

Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire a Senior Financial Analyst in Tempe, Arizona!

This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly visible role supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making across multiple areas of the organization. The ideal candidate will enjoy partnering with leadership, driving process improvements, and providing insights that help shape business strategy.

$90,000-$110,000 base salary + bonus (depending on experience)

Tempe, AZ (Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Responsibilities include:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for multiple areas of the business.
• Analyze monthly financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators to support decision-making.
• Develop financial models and business analyses to support growth initiatives, investments, and operational planning.
• Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and business leaders to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Support strategic decision-making through ad hoc analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
• Prepare presentations and reporting materials for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, data quality, and business processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required).
• 3+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or related experience (Required).
• Advanced Excel skills (Required).
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry (Preferred).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and visualization tools (Preferred).
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and management reporting (Preferred).

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
