Finance Analyst - Contingent

Pay range: $50-$56/hr

• Client is seeking a Merchant Services Deal Pricing Analyst to support our Merchant Services business. In this role, you will help evaluate pricing opportunities and support decisions that directly impact client relationships, profitability, and business growth.
• You will partner closely with Merchant Services Sales and Relationship Managers to analyze pricing requests, assess financial impacts, and provide data-driven recommendations. By evaluating merchant business characteristics such as transaction volume, processing trends, seasonality, and cost structures, you will help balance competitive client pricing with client profitability, risk, and compliance objectives.
• This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

• 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

• 4+ years of experience in Merchant Services, Payments, Financial Services, Operations, Pricing, Finance, or a related analytical field; or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience analyzing data and making recommendations based on financial, operational, or business insights.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet established deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
• Exposure to pricing, financial analysis, revenue analysis, or profitability assessment.
• Basic understanding of merchant pricing concepts, including interchange, assessments, processing fees, and related cost structures.
• Experience working with pricing, reporting, or business intelligence tools.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Relationship Management, Product, Operations, and Risk teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding payment network regulations and industry practices.

• Advanced Excel Skills
• Previous experience in merchant services pricing and strategy roles.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable handling calls with both internal and external customers.
