FIREFIGHTER RECRUIT
This recruitment is open for one month

Hourly Salary: $26.60
Firefighter Recruit is an entry level class in Tempe's Firefighter series. Recruits work under general supervision while learning job tasks and are expected to perform at a journey level within the prescribed time frame.
If hired, the recruit will attend a regional training academy that is approximately 14-16 weeks in duration. The Firefighter Recruit Academy will allow the recruit to become familiar with the career prior to graduation from the academy and prior to starting their probationary period.

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be 18 years of age at time of application
* Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency
* Must possess a valid driver's license
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
* Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate at the time of hire
* * Must possess a current Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT) certification at the time of hire
* The EMT certificate is not required to participate in the preselection processes, such as interviews, etc., but will be required before an offer of employment is made.
