South West Kidney Institute is hiring an Ultrasound Tech for our Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Tempe and Peoria, AZ!

Office Hours, Monday-Friday, 7am - 5pm. No weekends and No call.

Ultrasound Technician works directly with patients and physicians and operates equipment that uses high-frequency sound waves to take images and scans of the body's internal organs.

• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
• Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results.
• Explains ultrasound equipment and procedures to patients.
• Prepares ultrasound equipment and exam rooms for examinations.
• Adheres to HIPPA requirements, including strict confidentiality of patient information and testing.
• Alerts referring medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention.
• Operates equipment under authorized diagnostic approaches and practices.
• Problem‑solves and makes decisions regarding patient testing.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

• Successful completion of an approved 1-year program in Ultrasound Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field.
