We at Fam Ali are looking for positive and energetic individuals who are interested in becoming home care aides. This role focuses on personal care and daily living assistance on a one-to-one case for those with behavioral health and developmental disabilities such as physical or mental illness or who are disabled or confined to their homes.

• Have the opportunity to obtain your CPR, Article 9, and Prevention and Support certificate
• It's a job that is meaningful and caring to those in need

• Basic cleaning and or organizing to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client
• Laundry
• Assist with meals, such as meal preparation
• Assist with personal care
• Assist with grooming
• Assist with running errands such as grocery shopping
• Accompanying clients to appointments
• Taking clients to daily activities
• Document care of the client
• Overall becoming the client's go-to person

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Completed High School or GED certificate or take competency evaluation provided by Fam Ali
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have access to insured and reliable transportation
• Poses an AZ state fingerprint clearance card
• 6+ months of experience and or training requirements needed
• Must attend training requirements prior to working with the first client

• Prior experience in a similar role is ideal, but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills,
• Have the ability to communicate, comfort, and deescalate any situation
• Ability to react calmly in an emergency situation
• Experience or comfort in managing the health and personal care of clients if need be
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-center approach
