Upscale Home Care, a leading provider of compassionate care for veterans and seniors, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Companion to join our team in Tempe, AZ. As a fundamental member of our care team, you will play a vital role in empowering our clients to thrive in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and household management
- Promote independence, dignity, and well-being of clients, while fostering a positive and supportive care environment
- Develop and implement customized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families
- Maintain accurate records of client care, including documentation of services provided and any notable changes or concerns
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
About the Role:
As an Upscale Home Care Senior Companion, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16 - $18 HOURLY and the opportunity to work a variety of shifts, including part-time and full-time positions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others
