Nature and Scope:

The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) is responsible for leading the clinical education of product trials and implementations in the acute care settings of hospitals as it relates to the AVANOS specialty nutrition product portfolios. This includes high-level focus on the education requirements of CORTRAK
* Visualization and Nasal Securement Devices, and Vascular Access. Familiarity with needleless IV access devices is preferred, but not required. This role is a hybrid to support the Field Sales Team with training needs of other specialty nutrition products. The ideal candidate will utilize clinical expertise, personal and technical expertise, and product knowledge to assist the Field Sales Team in executing a set process to drive disposable sales.

Successful execution of clinical training in addition to building and forging strong relationships with key facility champions to support the sales team’s growth for the Specialty Nutrition Sales Team is paramount.

• Support the field sales team, sales managers, and Directors with all clinical educational needs and training.
• Execute successful trials and implementations within the acute care setting.
• Provide didactic/classroom style training in addition to "live" bedside coaching for key product portfolios.
• Lead customer assistance with developing policies and protocols utilizing key clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Thoroughly understand and demonstrate effective use of all approved clinical data/studies.
• Maintain clinical expertise on industry practices and trends to assist customers, internal stakeholders, and sales team.
• Work collaboratively with global sales training and marketing, to help create training programs for customers and the sales team.
