We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for our Patient Service Center. The role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, accurate data entry into the company's computer system, and the preparation and distribution of samples for analytical testing. The position requires adherence to pre and post-analytical testing protocols and specified analytical testing assignments, all while following the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

+ Collect and receive biological specimens.

+ Accurately enter specimen data into the computer system.

+ Prepare samples for analytical testing.

+ Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical areas.

+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.

+ Adhere to the Code of Conduct guidelines.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working with patients that are difficult draws.

+ 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience.

+ GED or High School Diploma required.

+ Team player attitude.

+ Reside within 15 or 16 miles of the workplace.

Work Environment

Work in a Patient Service Center. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The company offers numerous growth opportunities, including a career ladder to advance to Phleb Tech 2 after six months, with a potential pay increase. The organization fosters a culture of internal promotion for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
