Crisis Regional DirectorFull Time Tempe, AZ, US
4 days ago Requisition
Salary Range: $ To $ Annually
Position SummaryThe Crisis Regional Director (RD) provides clinical and operational leadership for an assigned geographic region within CPR’s Crisis Department, overseeing services across multiple hospitals and/or hospital networks. This role is responsible for supporting high-quality crisis care, developing strong teams and hospital partnerships, and ensuring consistent and effective operations across the region.
This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for a behavioral health professional who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and is energized by solving problems, supporting others, and finding practical solutions to complex or unexpected situations. Success in this role requires a calm, confident presence; the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure; and the flexibility to adapt as needs and circumstances change.
The role offers the opportunity to move seamlessly between clinical and operational leadership—supporting a team member, responding to a clinical concern, strengthening a hospital partnership, addressing a staffing challenge, or collaborating with CPR leadership to improve processes and outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, emotional intelligence, accountability, creativity, and initiative, along with a willingness to be hands-on when needed.
Because crisis services rarely follow a predictable path, the ability to remain focused, organized, and solution-oriented while navigating competing demands is essential.
At CPR, we are committed to making diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging an integral part of our daily operations. We strive to hire and retain talented, diverse, and creative individuals and are dedicated to promoting fairness, respect, and inclusion at every level of our organization.
