The Westin Tempe is looking for a FT - Executive Meetings Manager to join our amazing team!
An Executive Meetings Manager takes part in servicing our guests around our beautiful hotel and you'll be part of a great team of helpful people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction.
As an Executive Meetings Manager you will be responsible for selling, detailing, and servicing group business from all market segments, primarily handling programs of 10 to 24 room nights while maximizing guest room, meeting space, food and beverage, and ancillary revenues. This position manages the complete group event lifecycle from initial inquiry and contracting through event detailing and execution, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and seamless communication with hotel operations.
Assists in the overall efficient operation of the Sales Department, develops new and repeat business, and achieves revenue goals through exceptional sales and service.
Required skills and abilities include the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact. Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs and resolve complaints.
Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections.

Work habits should meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance. Safety and security of guests and associates is of utmost importance.
