Job Title: Regional Human Resources Business Partner – Southwest

Location (city, state): Gilbert, AZ or Tempe, AZ (Onsite)

Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000 annually (DOE)

Industry: Electrical / Mechanical Construction

The Regional HR Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting operational leadership and aligning regional workforce initiatives with overall business strategy.

Job Description:

The Regional Human Resources Business Partner will serve as the senior HR resource for a designated Southwest region. This role partners closely with executive and regional leadership to provide strategic and hands‑on human resources support. The position operates within a matrix structure, collaborating with enterprise People leadership while directly supporting regional operations.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment and can balance strategic guidance with day‑to‑day HR execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Performance Support

  • Lead employee relations efforts across the region, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and documented appropriately
  • Coach managers on performance improvement, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend solutions that minimize organizational risk

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Advise regional leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement
  • Support leaders through organizational changes, growth initiatives, and operational shifts
  • Provide practical HR guidance aligned with both regional goals and enterprise strategy

Talent & Workforce Operations

  • Collaborate with leadership and talent acquisition teams to support hiring strategies and staffing plans
  • Oversee key employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, promotions, transfers, and separations
  • Ensure a consistent and positive onboarding and offboarding experience across the region

Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Interpret and apply company policies consistently while balancing business objectives and employee experience

HR Operations & Systems

  • Maintain accurate employee records and data within HRIS platforms
  • Support enterprise HR initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist or Business Partner capacity
  • Experience supporting multi‑site or regional operations preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential matters with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven success in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
