Position Salary: $55,000.00

The Employer Relations Coordinator develops, manages, and expands strategic employer engagement programs that connect students with career exploration, recruiting, and professional development opportunities. This position coordinates signature employer engagement initiatives, including Discovery Days, Job Shadow experiences, alumni mentorship initiatives, and the annual Employer Open House, while serving as the primary administrator for Career Link (powered by 12twenty), the university's employer engagement platform.

Serving as a key operational and relationship-management resource, the coordinator cultivates partnerships with employers, academic units, alumni, and university stakeholders, ensuring employers receive timely support and access to recruiting opportunities. The position coordinates employer engagement requests, supports recruiting activities, manages employer communications, maintains engagement data, and develops processes that enhance employer participation in the student recruiting experience.

Working collaboratively with the Employer Relations and Career Readiness teams within Career Services, the coordinator identifies new partnership opportunities, strengthens existing employer relationships, and develops scalable engagement models aligned with Career Services' strategic priorities. This role balances program management with operational excellence by evaluating outcomes, improving systems and workflows, and implementing innovative approaches that expand employer and alumni engagement.

Essential Duties:

Coordinate the planning, implementation, and assessment of employer engagement programs and initiatives that connect employers, alumni, and students through experiential learning, career exploration, networking, recruiting, and professional development opportunities.

Serve as an administrator for Career Link (powered by 12twenty), managing employer account approvals, recruiting access, employer communications, system resources, and employer support while maintaining data integrity and compliance with university policies.

Deliver high-quality customer service by communicating professionally, responding promptly to requests, and fostering a welcoming and supportive experience for all employers.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with employers, alumni, academic units, faculty, and university partners to support Career Services initiatives, employer recruiting efforts, and expanded engagement opportunities.

Coordinate employer engagement requests originating from faculty and academic units by connecting employers with Career Readiness team members, maintaining engagement timelines, and supporting strategic participation in classroom presentations, industry panels, experiential learning, and other academic initiatives.

Coordinate employer and stakeholder communications, scheduling, logistics, and participant support to ensure successful delivery of programs, recruiting activities, signature events, and engagement initiatives.
