HR Administrator – Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Facility

Tempe – 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281 (On‑site)

Full‑time, exempt, day shift
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. citizenship or valid Permanent Resident status is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities (ITAR).
Key Responsibilities- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation and exit interviews
- Screen applicants and schedule interviews
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations under guidance of HR leadership
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Handle employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Director
- Assist with coordination of performance review cycles and employee engagement programs
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ITAR and other compliance regulations
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- High level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer service mindset
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1‑3 years of administrative experience; HR experience in a manufacturing setting strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of HR laws and regulations
- Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR requirements (citizen or permanent resident)
