Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in Dev Ops, system administration, or application deployment experience
- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops
- Strong coding skills in scripting languages including Python, Shell, or Power Shell
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms (e.g., Open Shift, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or Git
- Knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture
- Ability to thrive in Agile team environments
- Preferred:
Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite and Red Hat Open Shift - Preferred:
Skills in Grafana for dashboard creation and data visualization - Preferred:
Background in infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible or Terraform - A bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent experience totaling six to eight years if no degree
- Design, implement, and sustain automated deployment pipelines for Maximo applications
- Create scripts and tools for automated validation and rollback
- Collaborate effectively with developers, system administrators, and business analysts for integration and deployment
- Monitor and enhance deployment processes for optimal performance and security
- Manage version control and branching methods for application code
- Diagnose deployment issues and conduct root cause evaluations
- Ensure adherence to change management and IT governance protocols
- Support containerization and orchestration strategies including Docker and Open Shift
