Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Dev Ops, system administration, or application deployment experience
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops
  • Strong coding skills in scripting languages including Python, Shell, or Power Shell
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms (e.g., Open Shift, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or Git
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture
  • Ability to thrive in Agile team environments
  • Preferred:
    Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite and Red Hat Open Shift
  • Preferred:
    Skills in Grafana for dashboard creation and data visualization
  • Preferred:
    Background in infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible or Terraform
  • A bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent experience totaling six to eight years if no degree
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and sustain automated deployment pipelines for Maximo applications
  • Create scripts and tools for automated validation and rollback
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, system administrators, and business analysts for integration and deployment
  • Monitor and enhance deployment processes for optimal performance and security
  • Manage version control and branching methods for application code
  • Diagnose deployment issues and conduct root cause evaluations
  • Ensure adherence to change management and IT governance protocols
  • Support containerization and orchestration strategies including Docker and Open Shift
