Desktop Support Specialist

At Experis Game Solutions, we partner with developers and publishers of video games on all platforms to improve testing coverage using the latest technology.  As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting the game testing lab. The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Act as the initial point of contact for computer and system-related concerns from clients or other employees.

+ Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved.

+ Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage.

+ Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware.

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems and resolve technical issues related to network interruptions.

** What's Needed?*
* + Industry-specific certification such as A+, Network+.

+ 1-3 years of proven experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge.

+ Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS.

+ Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks and projects efficiently.

+ Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.
