What You're Looking ForWe are seeking an individual with 2+ years of hands‑on experience administering and maintaining VMware, Windows, and/or Linux systems. The ideal candidate is ready for a new opportunity within our IT Operations team and can thrive in a fast‑paced environment where learning, adapting, and process improvement are valued.
What You'll Do- Administer, maintain, tune, and troubleshoot development and production operations of Windows environments
- Work autonomously to support users in setting up accounts and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Assist in the development of systems monitoring and automation, utilizing tools and multiple scripting for Windows systems
- Create and deploy virtual machines with vSphere
- Rack and cable new servers
- Play a role in the development and maintenance of IT documents (diagrams, procedures, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related program of study, OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- 2+ years hands‑on experience administering and maintaining VMware, Windows and/or Linux
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and ideas to others
- Confidence and the ability to build meaningful relationships with your manager and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, identify and correct mistakes, and ask for help when needed
- Enthusiastic learner who seeks to improve skills and shares knowledge with others
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, RHCSA, MSCE, F5)
- Previous experience in a datacenter/telecommunications environment
- Experience with Windows and VMware virtualized environments
- Experience in patching using various patching software
- Be on call as needed to support business operations
- Work a hybrid schedule that includes at least 60% of your time (three days per week) in office
- Travel up to 10%
- Lifting up to 30 lbs
- Be a U.S. citizen
This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary, with most of the work involving a computer. Basic office equipment such as a phone, video conferencing system, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer are typically used.

Under Iridium's Hybrid Work Policy, employees are expected to work at least three days per week (approximately 60%) in an Iridium office to support collaboration, relationship‑building, and professional growth.
