The Senior Manager – Customer & Geo Analytics is responsible for leading analytics leaders and teams across multiple functional areas. This role manages a highly engaged team and supports their development through coaching, feedback, and career planning. The Senior Manager partners with business stakeholders to deliver high quality analytic solutions that drive strategic decisions across the firm.

This position owns hands on customer segmentation and enhances segmentation capabilities with geospatial intelligence. The role supports branch and DMA strategy, geographic growth, and market opportunity modeling. Additionally, the Senior Manager brings next generation analytics capabilities that align to both field and national planning priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead team members in achieving the department’s objectives, ensuring delivery of customer segmentation, geospatial analytics, and market opportunity insights that advance firm strategy.
  • Provide analytical insights to large and complex initiatives, integrating segmentation, spatial analysis, DMA/ZIP level insights, and growth modeling to inform decision making at scale.
  • Execute best in class analytics within the area of responsibility, applying advanced statistical, segmentation, and geospatial methodologies to elevate business impact.
  • Equip team members with the analytical knowledge and capabilities needed to prioritize work, assess trade‑offs, and meet stakeholder needs, including development in segmentation and geospatial techniques.
  • Partner with senior leaders to integrate analytics into planning and decision making, ensuring customer, geographic, and market insights inform firmwide and field strategies.
  • Influence business areas on effective use of analytics, demonstrating how segmentation, market demand analysis, and geographic intelligence can solve key business issues.
  • Translate firmwide messaging into functional understanding and support change management across analytics teams.
  • Maintain accountability for selecting and applying the appropriate analytical approach to business needs, including segmentation frameworks, DMA analysis, spatial modeling, and opportunity sizing.
  • Translate department strategy into execution through development of customer analytics and geo-analytics roadmaps that support national and field level planning.
  • Make personnel decisions including hiring, performance reviews, development planning, and necessary training, ensuring strong capabilities in both customer and geospatial analytics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Geography, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, with at least 3+ years in people leadership.
  • Hands‑on experience with customer segmentation, clustering, and audience analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience with geospatial analytics (e.g., DMA/ZIP code analysis, spatial modeling, market opportunity assessments).
  • Proficiency with geospatial tools such as Esri ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to inform strategy with data driven insights.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing analytical talent.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to tailor insights for technical and non‑technical audiences.
