They’re looking for a Databricks Data Engineer with strong Azure and Lakehouse expertise to help design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions in a cloud-native environment.
What You Will Do- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on the Databricks Lakehouse platform
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL
- Implement orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow and similar tools
- Design and optimize Delta Lake architectures for performance and reliability
- Implement Unity Catalog for governance (RBAC, lineage, metadata, secure sharing)
- Build reusable frameworks using Databricks Workflows, Repos, and Delta Live Tables
- Develop ingestion pipelines across APIs, databases, files, streaming, and MDM systems
- Automate integrations and workflows using Python and REST APIs
- Enable downstream use cases across BI, analytics, and data science
- Write and optimize SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and curated datasets
- Drive automation across deployments, testing, and Dev Ops processes
- 8+ years of data engineering experience with end-to-end pipeline ownership
- Strong background in data warehousing and distributed systems
- Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT frameworks
- Hands‑on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Proven ability to work across cross‑functional and matrixed teams
- Deep understanding of data governance, security, and cloud architecture best practices
