As a Senior Data Analyst, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data analysis projects for the Revolution Parts data platform. This role requires the design and implementation of complex analytical models that translate large-scale eCommerce datasets into actionable business outcomes. You will function as a high-level individual contributor, collaborating directly with business leaders to influence the strategic direction of our data products.
Key Responsibilities- Lifecycle Management:
Own data projects from initial requirements gathering through to stakeholder delivery, ensuring 100% alignment with business KPIs. - Advanced Modeling:
Develop complex SQL-based models and Python/R algorithms to extract insights from multifaceted eCommerce datasets (Sales, Payments, and Fulfillment). - Data Governance:
Design and implement automated validation processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of the Revolution Parts data warehouse. - Visualization:
Build and maintain sophisticated, interactive dashboards in Looker that empower customers to make real-time business decisions. - Technical Mentorship:
Act as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance on SQL optimization and data strategy to the wider team.
- Experience:
10+ years of professional experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years specifically within an eCommerce or Fintech platform environment. - Technical Stack:
- SQL Mastery:
Expert-level proficiency (window functions, CTEs, query optimization). - Modeling:
Proven experience using DBT (Data Build Tool) for modular data modeling is required. - Languages:
Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis. - BI:
Hands-on experience developing in Looker (LookML experience is a plus).
- SQL Mastery:
- Domain Knowledge:
Deep understanding of merchant performance metrics (e.g., GMV, Take Rate, Churn, CLV). - Education:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (CS, Data Analytics, Economics, or Math).
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in a quantitative or business discipline.
- Experience in digital marketing analytics or A/B testing methodologies.
- Comfortable with command-line tools and Git-based workflows.
The base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
