Rate Range: $95-$100/Hr
Job Description:
- Hands on AWS Architect leading enterprise migrations from VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) to AWS native, cloud native architectures.
- Provides end to end architectural leadership with a focus on security, scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.
- Define and govern AWS and VMC architectures from migration through modernization.
- Lead VMC AWS native transformations using rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies.
- Design secure, scalable AWS networking and landing zones aligned to AWS Well Architected and Control Tower.
- Guide large scale migrations, wave planning, and modernization roadmaps.
- Promote Dev Sec Ops , IaC, automation, and operational excellence.
- Serve as trusted advisor to stakeholders; mentor architects and engineers.
- 10+ years in architecture/senior engineering; 5+ years with AWS.
- Strong experience with VMC, core AWS services, security, networking, and cost optimization.
- Proven leadership of enterprise VMC AWS programs; strong executive communication.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional; AWS Networking/Security Specialty.
- Experience modernizing off VMC in complex or regulated environments.
