Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Vice President (AVP) with strong business analyst skills to join our team. As an AVP, you will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving strategic initiatives. Your ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential for success.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions that enhance our Commercial Card offerings. Your expertise in Commercial banking Products, Payment processing, Card products, and industry standards (such as TSYS, Master Card, Bottomline, Fiserv, and Spend Labs) will be critical in driving innovation and ensuring seamless customer experiences. This role will be reporting to head of MUFG Commercial Card technology.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for technology projects.

Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify pain points and areas for optimization.

Develop detailed business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.

Work closely with IT teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Participate in project planning, testing, and user acceptance activities.

Provide ongoing support to business users, troubleshoot issues, and propose enhancements.

Assist in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement.

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and compliance, to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Commercial Card solutions.

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance processes, and security protocols.

Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to drive innovation and enhance our product offerings.

Participate in architectural discussions, system design, and technology evaluations.

Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.

Facilitating the integration of third-party services, applications and functionalities to enhance web performance and increase e-business success.

Monitor, test, analyze, and evaluate application performance; resolve issues and/or recommend improvements.

Provide guidance and technical instruction to junior level engineers.

Conduct needs analyses and requirements assessments, assesses technical viability of products/technology, contributes to development of business cases, and consults and make recommendations on technical solutions to meet specific business requirements
