Job Description:

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 to 18 months (Chance of extensions)

Contract on W2

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team:
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.

Key projects:

• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience

Required:

5-7 overall years of experience in the field.

• Degrees or certifications required: A degree in information management or a similar or related field is preferred.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

1. Minimum 5+ years' experience with corporate experience in Program Management in the field of information management, solution management

2. Minimum 4+ years' experience with handling program escalations, technical projects, and working with the engineering team. Assist with the development of business requirements, project plan, test cases, and overall solution validation/testing

3. Minimum 4+ years' experience with data analysis, SQL & Power BI, Power Automate
