We are seeking Desktop Support Technicians to support a critical merger & acquisition integration. This role will focus on onsite end‑user support, device deployment, and user migrations to ensure a seamless Day 1 and post‑close transition.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, configure, and image desktops/laptops to corporate standards
- Perform user migrations, including data transfer, profile setup, and domain alignment
- Provide onsite desk‑side ("floor walk") support during migration and cutover periods
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues (Windows, Office 365, VPN, peripherals)
- Install and validate business‑critical applications post‑migration
- Perform data backup and restoration to prevent data loss
- Track and manage hardware inventory, including asset tagging and device swaps
- Support user onboarding to new systems (logins, MFA, email access)
- 2+ years of desktop support or deskside support experience
- Strong experience with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and migration projects
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
- Experience supporting M&A, site migrations, or large‑scale IT deployments
- Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or endpoint management tools
- Experience in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, etc.)
This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay RangeThe pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00 /hr.
