Job Description
Position Title: Sr. Application Database Engineer/Admin
Location: Phoenix AZ
Salary: Based on Experience
Spontorship: No
Responsibilities- Managing the core databases (MySQL)
- Maintaining and monitoring the databases
- Reviewing, analyzing and optimizing the SQLs
- Working with developers to implement solutions for database‑related tasks
- Providing support to the Service Engineers to solve customer issues
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration or held a Senior DBA position
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent related experience
- Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
- Expert experience in SQL programming and SQL performance tuning
- Experience in MySQL mirroring, clustering and failover strategies
- Strong knowledge of InnoDB and MyISAM engines
- Prefer knowledge in No
SQL products (DynamoDB/MongoDB) - Prefer experience in AWS Aurora
