Job Description• Lead testing projects, including the planning, testing and coordinating of testing activities
• Coordinate test activities of multiple teams, including but not limited to business, development and project teams
• Design and implement test strategy for projects and develop estimates for new test projects
• Develop test cases for bug fixes and for enhancement/new functionality
• Problem isolation on reported system bugs
• Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior
• Create and prioritize test cases for Bug fixes, small, medium and large/complex projects, including identification of risks and dependencies
• Coordinate test case review sessions with business users and development teams
• Report software defects; raises issues/concerns regarding issue prioritization
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training
• At least 5 years experience in software testing/Quality Assurance (QA)
• Good SQL skills and good understanding of relational databases
• Strong software analysis skills
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of Quality Management and "best practices" with regard to testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurement
• Thorough knowledge of software development life cycles
• Experience testing web-based applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
• Agile experience is a plus
• Experience with automated testing tools a plus
