Digital Marketing, Web Developer, SEO
ISM is in search of a full-time Web Developer to manage CMS content, publish web content, and support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of ISM’s digital properties. This role supports day-to-day website publishing, Optimizely CMS operations, analytics implementation, reporting, and front-end updates in partnership with Marketing, IT, and other business stakeholders.
Reports to:
Director, IT
- Manages daily website updates, CMS requests, and content publishing activities through ISM’s web request process.
- Creates, edits, formats, and publishes web pages and digital content in Optimizely CMS while maintaining accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment.
- Supports marketing campaigns, landing pages, event pages, member resources, product content, and other web initiatives in coordination with Marketing, Communications, Product, and IT teams.
- Implements and maintains analytics tracking using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including tags, events, conversions, and related measurement needs.
- Creates recurring and ad hoc reports to communicate website traffic, campaign performance, content engagement, and conversion activity to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoots CMS, page layout, front-end display, analytics, tagging, and publishing issues; identifies root cause and coordinates fixes with developers, vendors, or stakeholders as needed.
- Documents web publishing procedures, CMS standards, analytics practices, and repeatable processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborates with developers and third-party partners on website enhancements, integrations, service requests, and platform improvements.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in web development, CMS content management, digital publishing, or a closely related role.
- Experience with Bootstrap or comparable front-end frameworks.
- Experience with Optimizely CMS strongly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning preferred.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud applications to prepare and optimize digital assets for web use.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and web performance reporting.
- Experience using Semrush to support SEO analysis, keyword research, competitive insights, and search visibility improvements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within agile or sprint-based project environments.
- Team player with a customer-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and confidently communicate information, both verbally and in writing.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field or similar experience/certifications
- Web development, CMS content management, and digital publishing: 3+ years of progressive experience
