Job Overview
Senior Dev Ops Engineer – Contract (9‑month, with potential extension). Hybrid role: 3 days onsite in Tempe, AZ.
Responsibilities- Design and implement features for the Enterprise CI/CD tools.
- Build, maintain, and optimize deployment pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Azure Dev Ops pipelines.
- Script infrastructure processes to enable self‑service requests.
- Investigate and resolve escalated production issues and integration problems.
- Ensure the health of CI/CD tools through timely upgrades, patches, and integration maintenance.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to support high‑velocity application delivery.
- Deep technical expertise in Git Hub Enterprise and Azure Dev Ops administration (permissions, API integrations, pipeline scripting, limitations).
- Experience with Microsoft Co‑Pilot for Git Hub and best practices for adoption and usage metrics.
- Administration of Git Hub Self‑Hosted Runners on‑prem and Azure Cloud, as well as Nexus Sonatype Repository and Docker.
- Strong API integration skills with a focus on security.
- ITSM process experience using ticketing tools such as Remedy or Service‑Now.
- Proficient scripting in Shell, Python, and Power Shell.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in application release automation or code migrations using Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, CA Release Automation (Nolio), or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑resolution skills.
- Leadership ability to drive issue resolution and mentor peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Windows and Linux server administration experience.
- Knowledge of networking and internet communication protocols.
- Installation and administration of applications in Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with web services, REST, and OAuth app flows (tokens).
- Observability experience with Dynatrace or similar tools.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, NodeJS, and JavaScript build tool chains.
- Background in RHEL / Linux and Windows administration.
Mid‑Level – 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Work Location & TypeHybrid position in Tempe, AZ – 3 days onsite per week.

Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour.
