Job Description

Solü is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst (Collibra & Data Governance) to join our client’s team. The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, designing, and implementing information and data governance solutions and information modeling for internal business stakeholders. This role is also responsible for the maintenance and configuration of information governance systems and our client’s common information model.

This role requires an understanding of enterprise information architecture and experience in implementing those concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the maintenance and configuration of Data Management technical infrastructure (Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, Collibra Data Quality, Erwin Data Modeling, and Sparx Enterprise Architect).
  • Collaborate with the integration department on system integrations and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
  • Collaborate with the Analytics Center of Excellence on enterprise initiatives, including the data science platform Dataiku and Snowflake repository.
  • Lead projects/initiatives to support product roadmaps for enterprise applications support, collaborations on major initiatives, and information management projects that Data Services would collaborate on.
  • Provide information and data governance consultation with Information System projects and project teams.
  • Develop workflows, integrations, and other capabilities to support the Enterprise Data management tools to meet/exceed business expectations.
  • Support data governance communication to data governance organizations within the company.
  • Adhere strictly to information principles, policies, and information privacy practices.
  • Support Data Services related to data quality, data cataloging, data modeling, and other services around assessments and data usage and sharing.
  • Converse with Data Architect(s) within the organization and provide data architecture support for the Collibra metamodel.
  • Implement with other data repositories and utilize/configure connectors to best integrate with data tools and other applications/systems within the enterprise, while understanding data architecture aspects and enabling those concepts.
  • Develop written materials supporting data services.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Participate in the Data Stewardship Program supporting individual data stewards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience in data analysis, governance, and enterprise data management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Governance and/or Data Management roles.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in Data Governance activities, including data cataloging, data quality management, and data modeling to enhance enterprise data services.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in the enterprise administration of Collibra Data Catalog, Collibra Data Quality, Erwin Data Modeling, and Enterprise Architect/Sparx Data Modeler.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear, non-technical manner to executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong service orientation with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across teams and external partners.
  • High ethical standards with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of data, projects, and strategy.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, facilitate solutions, and continuously update technical knowledge and skills.
