Cyber Threat Intelligence Engineer

Edward Jones seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Engineer IV to lead advanced threat research, detection engineering, and response for a global financial services environment. In this senior role, you will design and refine cyber threat intelligence capabilities, correlate internal and external intel, and build detection logic to protect client and firm assets. You will mentor junior analysts, partner with security operations, engineering, and business teams, and help shape cyber defense strategy while working in a values-driven, collaborative culture focused on integrity, growth, and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of cyber threat intelligence capabilities for the firm
• Conduct advanced threat hunting, research, and analysis across multiple data sources
• Develop and tune detection logic, rules, and playbooks to identify and mitigate threats
• Correlate internal telemetry with external threat feeds and industry intel
• Collaborate with SOC, security engineering, and IT teams on incident response
• Provide subject-matter expertise to enhance security tools, processes, and architecture
• Produce reports and briefings for technical and executive stakeholders
• Mentor and guide junior analysts and engineers in CTI best practices
• Support regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements for cyber defense
• Continuously evaluate emerging threats, TTPs, and technologies to improve defenses
