Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer

Edward Jones seeks a Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure solutions that protect client and firm financial data. In this role, you will architect security controls for cloud and on-prem systems, integrate security tools, and support secure software delivery across finance and insurance platforms. You will collaborate with IT, development, and business teams to assess risk, define requirements, and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities include threat modeling, vulnerability management, identity and access controls, and compliance with financial regulations, while helping advance a security-first, client-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for financial systems and platforms
• Architect and maintain security controls for cloud and on-prem environments
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews
• Manage vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with IT and development teams
• Implement and monitor identity and access management controls
• Integrate and tune security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and application security platforms
• Support incident response activities and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal security policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into projects and SDLCProduce security documentation, standards, and technical guidance
