- Provide dedicated coordination support to a Product Manager within the Product & UX portfolio
- Report to the Director of Product, Enterprise Technology
- Maintain continuity across requirements documentation, release tracking, and quality assurance as the product progresses from rollout to institutional adoption
- Gather stakeholder input, validate requirements, communicate status, and determine when to escape, document, or drive decisions to closure
- Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements across departments
- Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
- Analyze current-state processes and recommend improvements or system enhancements
- Maintain requirements traceability from intake through delivery
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Perform current-state versus desired-state gap analysis
- Document workflows, process maps, and business rules
- Maintain repositories of requirements, decisions, and process documentation
- Document impacts of proposed changes to support change management
- Liaise between business stakeholders and technical/development teams
- Facilitate requirements sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test case development
- Assist with project planning, scope definition, and prioritization of enhancement requests
- Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and compliance/regulatory requirements
- Identify risks and dependencies early in requirements or design phases
- Support post-implementation reviews
- Leverage AI for routine tasks and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
- Foster a positive culture, uphold organizational values, and champion engagement
- Collaborate across teams and participate in Enterprise Technology and ASU events and programs
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or training providing comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business or functional requirements from multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience translating requirements into user stories, use cases, or functional specifications for development teams
- Experience tracking project or release milestones and managing cross-team dependencies
- Experience supporting testing/QA cycles, including test case development and UAT
- Analytical skills, including interpreting data or usage trends to inform decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Experience writing and maintaining product requirements documentation in a software or SaaS environment
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar roadmap and milestone tracking tools
- Experience coordinating QA or user acceptance testing cycles before production releases
- Experience supporting higher education products, student information systems, or enterprise/institutional software
- Ability to manage multiple release cycles or work streams concurrently with attention to detail
- Ability to model empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence
