Sign Language Interpreter role for a 36-week contract in or near Tempe, Arizona. Provide interpretive services to hearing-impaired students throughout the school day. Earn competitive pay and benefits while supporting student communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide interpretive services for hearing-impaired students throughout the school day.

  • Collaborate with school staff to facilitate effective communication in classroom and extracurricular settings.

  • Ensure accurate and respectful interpretation, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Adapt to the dynamic school environment, supporting students' unique needs.

  • Assist with any additional interpretation needs as required by the school.

Qualifications:
  • Valid state license or equivalent credentials for sign language interpretation.

  • Current IVP card.

  • Minimum 1 year of interpreting experience in school settings.

  • Professional resume and proven reliability.

  • Compassionate, patient, and capable of working in a school environment during day shifts.

  • Ability to provide interpretation for hearing-impaired students throughout the school day.
