Overview

Join a rapidly growing team as a Key Account Manager. This role focuses on enhancing the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who utilize inbound transportation services. As part of a team driving innovation in transportation and logistics, you will play a key role in identifying network shipper defects, coaching shippers, and managing performance improvements. Collaborate directly with shippers to develop solutions and take proactive measures to enhance their performance metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, verify, and present data on a daily basis.
  • Address transportation disruptions and overcome barriers in real-time.
  • Identify root causes of transportation defects.
  • Maintain daily logs for assigned shippers.
  • Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.
  • Conduct Daily Business Review Stand up calls.
Essential Skills
  • Account management and customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including data navigation and interpretation.
  • Problem-solving skills, particularly in logistics and transportation.
  • Experience in intermodal and supply chain management.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of basic data analytical skills.
  • Ability to write documents on process improvement proposals.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Industry backgrounds such as party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, and restaurants are valued.
Work Environment

This role is based 100% on site, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience and potentially transition to a full-time position. Work alongside top customers and benefit from support and training for technical skills, with a focus on developing interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
