Inventory Control & Analysis
Purpose of Job
To plan display build schedule and components using JDE/ERP systems. Create stock transfers between branch plants. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, adjustments, and metrics reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties- Plan and create work orders for display schedule.
- Create purchase orders for display components.
- Plan and create stock transfers between branch plants.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to ensure new artwork is available on-time for display builds.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure display is on-track to ship.
- Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze, review, and audit all inventory-related activities.
- Identify daily inventory discrepancies and partner with Logistics for resolution.
- Cooperate and collaborate within operations and cross-functional teams on continuous improvement programs to optimize supply chain and inventory processes.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, data queries, analysis, and reporting.
- Analyze and review daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count metric reports for each site.
- Perform procedural and inventory audits for 3PL facilities.
- Reconcile and perform inventory adjustments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education:
AA degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management/Logistics preferred or 5 years of inventory control work experience. - Certification:
American Production & Inventory Control (APICS) certification preferred. - Experience:
Must have planning experience using ERP system and creating/reported inventory metrics. Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing supply chain environment. Preference for JD Edwards or SAP system experience. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong data mining and reporting tools knowledge (e.g., Cetova, JDE, Power BI). Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, schedule multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word. Analytical and oral/write communication skills.
Accident hazard is unlikely. Requires frequent attention with potential eye strain. Overtime may be required during peak periods. Travel required between sites.
Compensation and BenefitsNational Target Base Pay Range: $53,000.00 - $88,000.00 (California/ New York metro: $59,000.00 - $98,000.00). Total rewards package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, annual performance bonus, and other wellness benefits. Overtime compensation follows state and federal law.
