Job Description
As a Sr Production Planner at Honeywell, you will play a key role in developing and implementing long‑term strategies for our supply chain to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Your focus will be on aligning supply chain operations with business goals, considering factors such as customer demand, network design, and supplier relationships.
You will report to our Production Planning Leadership team and work out of one of our United States locations on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a direct impact on Honeywell’s business operations by optimizing inventory levels, enhancing supply chain processes, and managing costs to improve customer satisfaction and reduce waste.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives
- Analyze demand patterns and supply capabilities to optimize inventory levels
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure reliable supply
- Utilize ERP systems and data analytics tools to monitor supply chain performance
- Lead initiatives to incorporate automation and AI in supply planning processes

- 3+ years of experience in supply planning or supply chain management
- Proficiency with ERP systems and data analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Maestro)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with inventory management software and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience applying AI and machine learning to optimize planning processes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Continuous learning mindset and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
