Supply Chain Project Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona
.

This role involves overseeing complex supply chain projects within the aerospace industry, focusing on improving productivity, quality, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction through strategic project management and operational improvements.

• Lead and coordinate integrated supply chain projects within the aerospace business.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and develop corrective actions to ensure project success.
• Create and maintain Line of Balance reports and related planning tools.
• Utilize SAP to analyze supply chain data, track project milestones, and assist operational decision-making.
• Develop project tracking mechanisms, metrics, and dashboards to measure progress and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, planning, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to leadership.
• Support problem‑solving activities and facilitate cross‑functional alignment to resolve operational challenges.

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, project management, or a related discipline.
• Strong SAP experience with the ability to analyze and manage supply chain data.
• Experience creating and managing Line of Balance (LOB) reports.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience leading cross‑functional project teams.
• Knowledge of integrated supply chain processes and operational metrics.
• Continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma experience.

This is an on‑site position located in Tempe, Arizona; remote work is not supported.
