Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

• Responsible for supplier market research and obtaining documentation for solicitation efforts (drawings, scorecards, historical purchases).
• Evaluate supplier information to determine the most desirable suppliers.
• Help drive the completion of compliant FAR
  15 packages and work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with program requirements.
• Execute FAR
  15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS and applicable regulations.
• Support negotiations on price, terms, and conditions.
• Manage key program suppliers.
• Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value to the client.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal & Compliance, Business, or Finance.
• There is a Bachelor's Degree requirement.
• DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR
  15).
• Detailed understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills and processes.
• Supply chain experience.
• Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or a similar industry.
• Experience managing subcontracts such as FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.
• Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD).
• Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions.
